 Report By: Shabir Parry Offices of DDC Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson Kishtwar start function KISHTWAR, MAY 05: The office of Chairperson District Development Council (DDC) Kishtwar, Pooja Thakur and Vice Chairperson, Saima Shabir Lone started function here in Government accommodation near DC Office Complex. Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Sharma, BDC Chairpersons, DDC members, and other senior officers welcomed the chairperson and Vice Chairperson at their newly established Office. The DDC Chairperson, while speaking on the occasion, hoped that the developmental process on grassroots level will get a fresh boost with the establishment of a 3-tier PRI System in the District. She sought cooperation from District Administration for taking forward the developmental activities in the district. Advisor Bhatnagar Visits GMC Kathua, reviews COVID measures, Inspects progress of work on Oxygen Generation Plant

Report by: Shabir Parry KATHUA, MAY 05: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar today visited Government Medical College, Kathua to review the COVID measures and to assess the progress of ongoing works on Oxygen Generation Plant here. The Advisor directed authorities to expedite the work and ensure the commissioning of the plant within the shortest possible time. The Advisor directed DC Kathua to extend all logistic help to the team of Engineers to expedite the installation work of Oxygen Generation Plant and ensure its commissioning at the earliest. Presently the availability of oxygen is through the manifold system which provides sufficient oxygen to the admitted patients. The Advisor directed the officials that adequate stock of cylinders should be maintained to deal with any eventuality.
